1. How long does it take you to complete an album?

I generally attempt to get an album consisting of 20 pages completed within one month's time. From the time I receive your e-mail approving my preliminary plans for your album, to the mailing of your last completed page for you to view. I will not exceed two months for an album completion. This requires you to check your e-mail frequently to approve layout plans or answer any questions. A quick response to layout ideas is necessary to keep from encountering delays in the completion of your scrapbook.
Obviously, the time needed for smaller projects is significantly less. If ordering only single page layouts it usually takes me one day.

2. What about journaling? Do you journal for me? If so, how do you know what to write?
Journaling to me is what makes a photo album a scrapbook. I also feel your handwriting, no matter how horrid you may think it is, is a tremendous asset to the scrapbook. If you still prefer PC fonts, I have a wide assortment -- even fonts that look like handwriting and theamed fonts (ex. zoo, school, etc.).
You will receive an e-mail of my plans for album. With each page I give you the opportunity to e-mail me any journaling you wish to be included. Sometimes I even find quotes or poems that fit the theme and share them with you... You decide if you'd like me to add them or not. At your request I can also provide an empty space in which you can hand write your own journaling once you receive the album. Please note: There is no additional charge for journaling.

3. What are my payment options?

I also accept personal checks made payable to me. I will begin creating your album once your  check has cleared the bank. Upon completion of the album it will be shipped once your check for the total remaining bill has also been cleared.

4. What is PayPal and how does it work?
PayPal is an account-based system that lets anyone with an e-mail address securely send and receive online payments using their credit card or bank account. I, the recipient of the charge, never have access to your account number.
After you have signed up for a PayPal account using your credit or debit card account number, go to the "Send Money" tab. Enter the e-mail address of the person to whom you are sending the payment, as well as the amount of the payment. You can also use your PayPal balance or your checking account to fund your payment.

5. I am simply overwhelmed by the number of photos I have in a box! I don't even know where to begin. How can you help?
Simply e-mail me your wishes to get started on a custom made scrapbook and that you are finding it difficult to know where to start. The best way to start organizing your photos is to put them in chronological order and once that is done, arrange them into events and/or themes. Generally one layout can fit up to four 4x6 pictures or sometimes more if cropped... If you have a lot of pictures from one event, pick out the best ones that showcase the event or theme. I also offer Photo Sorting/Organization.
If from there you have difficulty selecting and editing your photographs, you can mail me all your photos in order for the album theme and I can make the selection for you with your approval. In my e-mail of my preliminary plans for the album I will include the photos that will be included and those that I will exclude. You can always voice your opinion on what photos to include throughout the creative process.

6. If I give you scrapbooking supplies, does that lower the price?
Unfortunately, I do not offer a lower price for providing me with supplies. It is difficult to plan a layout when you are limited to specific supplies, paper, stickers, etc. Of course, I will always include any memorabilia you wish to have included in the album. 

7. Will you use my photos and completed scrapbook layouts on this website?

No i do not use your pages or layouts on my website unless i have written permission from you.

8. I have started a scrapbook but have not had the time to finish it. Do you also complete albums for people?
Certainly. To determine your cost, I would charge  per page depending on which size album you have and how detailed you want your pages.

9. I have collected many ideas for my scrapbook via magazines and the Internet. If I either e-mail you a scan of the idea or mailed it to you, would you be able to recreate it?
I have yet to find an idea that I would not be able to recreate. What I generally do when I "scraplift" an idea is simply to hand draw the font, stamped images, or stickers since it is difficult to find the same items. I would gladly incorporate any ideas or layouts you have in mind for your album.

10. What if I wish to cancel my order for a custom-made album once you have started?
I have no problem with you canceling an order at anytime, for any reason. You are liable for the cost of each page that has already been created (depending on your scrapbook or layout package). All deposits are non refundable.

11. What happens at the free consultation?

At your free two hour consultation, we will discuss your project in detail from your photos, how you would like to have them displayed, if you want them cropped or not, as well as the level of embellishment you want done on each page, colors, also how many pages it will take to complete your project. Based on our schedule and yours we will also set a time frame for your album to be completed. You will need to make decisions about lots of things like Journaling, and whether or not you want to journal in your own handwriting or you want me to do Journaling on my computer. We will also discuss the client agreement.

12. What if I wish to hire Scrapin Fairytale Memories but I don't live in your state?

That’s not a problem. We love to work with out of state customers and we do so all the time. We can do the free consultation and all our communicating through e-mail or by telephone what ever work best for you. When we shipping  the completed project, we always use a reputable mail service where shipments can be tracked and insured.
